Do I have to have a professional
Instructor?
At present the answer is no. However, Driving Instructors
are highly qualified and it's unlikely that you will pass without professional help from an
Instructor.
Do all Instructors teach
the same things?
All Instructors teach a basic syllabus that needs to be covered. However,
Instructors do have considerable freedom to teach people in the way that they
find works the best. Be assured however, that Instructors are regularly
check-tested by the DVSA to ensure that their Instruction is up to scratch.
How much do lessons cost?
Lessons can cost from £20 if pre-paid in blocks or up to £26 for a full hour’s lesson.
Our price of £25 for an hour at any time, and is in fact very good value when you
consider the Instructor's overheads.

What types of car will I
be driving?
The brand new BMW 1 Series. Our cars are never more than 6 months old.
Can I have more than one
lesson a week?
Yes, We will fit you in for as many lessons as you require.
Can I start driving before
I've taken my theory test?
Yes, having lessons will actually help you with your theory test.
Do you work weekends?
Yes. Sundays, all day. But I don't teach on Saturday.
Do you charge more for
weekends and evenings?
No. Just a set price for whenever you book your lesson.
Are there any other pupils
in the car?
Definitely not. We do not pick up or drop off other pupils in your lesson time.
Can I have intensive
driving tuition?
Yes, but we do need a little time to arrange a course of intensive lessons.
Can I do more than a one
hour driving lesson?
Yes, most pupils find it more beneficial to do a 2 hour lesson.
Can I be picked up and
dropped off in a different place?
Yes, within reason. But remember we're not a mini cab service!!!
Are your driving
instructors friendly and patient?
Yes, it is one of the most important qualities in a driving instructors. We
are all lovely. :)
Do the instructors smoke
in the tuition cars?
No. Smoking in a work vehicle is not only unpleasant, but now against the law!
However, you can stop in a safe place and get out for a quick smoke if you wish
to.
Do you offer the
'Pass Plus' course?
Yes.
